What about the Women's Right and Freedom?

We always talk about Freedom, Equality and Women Empowerment. But actually do we know where do we exist? How many women are really having her basics rights?

In spite of over six decades of Independence, in spite of India making rapid progress in science, technology and other fields, Women in India are still living in Slavery of typical rituals and myths. There is still Domestic Violence against women, Discrimination against girl children, illegal abortions. More than 80 % women are still illiterate, In some region of India “Baal Vivah” is still happening. More than 95 % of women do not have even basic decision  powers. Before being a married she has to follow her father or brothers and after marriage she has to follow her husband instructions. Then where our women stand? What about their freedom?

If still you have doubt, then please ask the following very basic and simple question to yourself –

• 1. How many cases you have seen, where parents ask to her daughter about her choice while making a decision of her marriage?
• 2. How many parents ask her daughter, what she wants to be in her life?
• 3. How many husbands ask her wife, what she likes to have in dinner and can make what she likes to eat?
• 4. Why she has to ask her in laws to go to meet her own parents?
• 5. How many parents throw a party to give a birth a girl child?

Women cannot take the small and basic decision for her. And we are proudly saying that we are living in an independent country. THINK ABOUT IT.

I just want to say guys, “Women are not for serving the men”. She is an individual identity; she must have an individual identity. She must have equal rights to men. Don’t take her as a grant in the name of mother, sister, daughter or wife. If she serves you that don’t mean that’s her job or responsibility or she has made to serve you, she is doing that because she loves you, she values the relationship, she wants to do that.
